This year’s route is likely to include Lucy Lane, Church Lane, School Lane, Pitcher Lane, Leys Road, Linceslade Grove, Redland Drive, Ashpole Furlong, Paynes Drive and the Bradwell Road. The exact route will be decided upon, once all the Entry Forms have been submitted.

If you do not live on or close to any of these roads, please select one of the following options for exhibiting your Scarecrow:

Its a Date!

We have set the date for the Second Loughton Scarecrow Trail, 2015. The competitions will be judged on the afternoon of Friday 3rd July, the trail will open to the public at 10.00 a.m. on Saturday 4th July, and it will close again on Saturday 11th July at 5.00 p.m. These dates have been agreed after consultation with the five local schools that are set to participate in this year's event: Loughton First School, Loughton School, The Grove School, Holmwood School and Denbigh School. We are all looking forward to a festive summer of scarecrow fun, whatever the weather! So start dreaming now of how best to portray your favourite, inspirational 'book, play or film'.
